What is Reiki?

Reiki comes from Japanese origin. "Rei" meaning Universal Life and "Ki" meaning Energy. Reiki is a very gentle and relaxing energy that can help balance and restore your chakras. A Reiki Practioner is a conduit to transfer the energy to the client. Reiki restores balance on all levels, to the root cause rather than masking symptoms.

What are Chakras?

Our bodies have 7 main chakras each representing different emotional/energetic centres. Physical symptoms that we may have - headaches, back pain, re-occuring bladder infections, depression, insomnia to name a few, can be a result of emotional block or blocked chakra. A Reiki Practioner can help to move out stagnant energy that is creating the block to make room for positive Reiki energy to restore balance.

What does Reiki feel like?

Everyone's experience receiving a Reiki session is different. Some may experience tingling, heaviness, weightlessness, heat, cold or no immediate sensation at all. The important thing to know is that whatever your experience is, it is normal. Nonetheless, an outcome of deep relaxation is common.
